HGV Class 2 Driver – Full Time We are seeking a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team based in the Hatfield area. Key Responsibilities • Safely and punctually deliver goods to a variety of destinations, including stores, residential addresses, and construction sites. • Assist with the loading and unloading of the vehicle as required. • Carry out routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance. • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous manner during client interactions. • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Demonstrate flexibility and dedication to completing assigned routes efficiently and safely. Candidate Requirements • At least 12 months’ recent experience driving an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle. • Valid UK Driving Licence, full CPC qualification, and a DIGI tachograph card. • Capability to perform manual handling tasks safely. • Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanour. • No more than six penalty points on licence; endorsements such as DR, DD, or IN are not accepted. • Possession of appropriate PPE, including high-visibility clothing and safety boots. Employment Details & Remuneration • Working hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 07:30, totalling 47.5 hours per week; no weekend work. • Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year, inclusive of bank holidays. • Free on-site parking available. • Location: Hatfield. • Contract: Permanent, full-time position.
