Salary: £47,959.60 + Plus London weighting (£92.82 per week) additional weekly overtime £27.14 - along with Benefits
Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off -Days/Nights

We are seeking a professional and safety-conscious Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver to join our transport team. The Role
As a Class 1 Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous chemicals in bulk tankers throughout the UK. You will play a key role in ensuring products are delivered on time while adhering to all relevant transport, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely transport hazardous chemicals in tanker vehicles to customer sites across the UK.
• Ensure full compliance with ADR regulations and all transport legislation.
• Conduct vehicle and equipment checks before, during, and after journeys.
• Maintain accurate driving, delivery, and compliance records.
• Adhere to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations at all times.
• Wear and maintain appropriate PPE in accordance with company procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Communicate effectively with customers, transport planners, and colleagues.
• Follow all company Health & Safety, ISO, and operational procedures.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest professional standard.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Requirements
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• ADR qualification with Classes 8 & 9 as a minimum.
• Previous tanker driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Clean or near-clean driving licence.
• Strong understanding of UK road networks and route planning.
• Excellent awareness of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
• A professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach.
• Desirable Skills
• Previous experience transporting hazardous chemicals.
• Experience working within the chemical manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
