We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Drivers to join our clients operation based in Sittingbourne, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced drivers and new pass Class 1 drivers looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive and professional transport team. As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you'll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. The role offers regular daytime work with 06:00 start times and average shifts of 10-12 hours. What We Offer • £16.91 per hour • Enhanced rates for weekend work • Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays • Monday to Friday working pattern • Full-time, ongoing employment • Consistent start times • Supportive transport management team • Excellent opportunity for newly qualified CE Drivers and new pass HGV Drivers Key Responsibilities • Driving a Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle • Completing daily vehicle safety inspections • Carrying out deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally • Following planned routes and schedules • Ensuring compliance with Driver CPC, Working Time Directive and Drivers' Hours regulations • Completing delivery paperwork and Proof of Delivery documentation • Representing the company professionally at customer sites Essential Requirements • Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV Class 1 / Category CE Licence • Driver CPC Qualification Card • Digital Tachograph Card • Good knowledge of transport legislation and road safety • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude • Reliable and customer-focused approach Why Apply?
