HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER

HGV Class 1 Drivers Required in the WA3 area of Warrington AStar Recruitment are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work with a leading logistics company based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with a minimum of 12 months’ experience who are looking for ongoing, reliable work with competitive rates of pay. Shifts & Hours • 7-day operation • Monday to Friday pattern • Start times available • 24 hr Operation The Role • Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles (box and curtain-sided trailers) • Completing store deliveries and general haulage across the UK • manual unloading is required for store deliveries • Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with driver hours regulations Pay Rates (PAYE) • £225 per shift (inclusive of holiday pay) Benefits • Ongoing, consistent work • Opportunity for temp-to-perm positions • Flexible shift patterns • Weekly pay Requirements • Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence • CPC & Digital Tachograph Card • Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience • No more than 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
