HGV Truck Washing Operative

My market-leading client, based in the Lymm, Warrington area, is currently looking to recruit an HGV Wash Operative to join their friendly and established team on a temporary to permanent basis. Basic Salary: £31,365 Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00 PLUS Working 1 in 2 Saturdays 07:00 – 11:30 Pay & Benefits: • Earnings of approximately £36,000 per annum • Working outdoors within a supportive team environment • 28 days annual leave • Additional half-day holiday for your birthday • Christmas shutdown from Christmas through to New Year • Full uniform provided • Discounted on-site food facilities • Free parking • Full training provided • Stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established business Responsibilities: • Greeting and welcoming customers in a polite and professional manner. • Working as part of a team to ensure all vehicles are cleaned to a high standard. • Operating wash equipment including brushes, soaps and pressure lances. • Running and monitoring vehicle wash machines. • Directing traffic around the site to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. • Assisting with site closing procedures, including equipment shutdown and preparation for adverse weather conditions. • Carrying out general site maintenance duties, including litter collection, emptying bins and ensuring communal areas remain clean and tidy. • Maintaining high standards of customer service and site presentation at all times. • Adhering to all health and safety procedures. Specification: • Hardworking, reliable and dependable individual. • Friendly and approachable with strong customer service skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn. • Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
