As a HLTA, you will take on a more senior role, supporting the teaching and learning process, and assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons. Vacancy: Higher Level Teaching Assistant Location: High Wycombe Contract: Long term contract Pay: £110 to £130 per day Start: September 2026 As a HLTA your key responsibilities will be; • Support the teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons • Lead intervention groups and provide additional support to students who require it • Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the students • Assist with the assessment and evaluation of student progress • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment The successful candidate will have: • A relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant • Experience working in a primary school setting • Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team In return, the school offer a supportive environment that holds professional growth and development.
