About the RoleAre you a confident, experienced HLTA with a background in Alternative Provision? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Specialist HLTA to support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
You will be working within an OFSTED-rated 'Good' Alternative Provision located in Preston, serving the wider Chorley area. In this role, you will deliver a range of engaging lessons while managing small groups of up to 8 pupils, maintaining a supportive and structured environment.
Key RequirementsWe are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
• HLTA Status or a relevant degree
• Proven experience working within an Alternative Provision or SEMH setting
• Strong classroom management skills and experience managing challenging behaviour
• Experience supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• A strong commitment to student development and school values
