Job description

The Highways & Construction Procurement Business Partner will manage procurement processes and strategies within the public sector, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks. This role is based in Liverpool one day per week and requires expertise in CIPS, PCR2015, and related procurement practices. Description • Develop and implement procurement strategies for highways and construction projects. • Ensure compliance with PCR2015 and PA23 regulations in all procurement activities. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide expert advice on procurement processes. • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. • Evaluate and negotiate contracts to achieve best value outcomes for the organisation. • Monitor procurement performance and identify opportunities for improvement. • Utilise NEC & JCT Contract forms • Support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives through efficient procurement practices.
