Highways Heavy Plant/HGV Operative (Hexham)Job InformationROLE OF THE JOB You will be required to drive various HGV vehicles to assist with the delivery of Highways Schemes within the Hexham Area. As part of your role, you will be expected on occasions to assist with civil ground works and as part of the team assist with task such as paving, drainage and tarmac repairs. REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB • An HGV licence is an essential part of role and ability to work unsupervised between sites. • Knowledge of the legislation and regulations relating to driving Northumberland County Council's (NCC) vision is 'Land of Great Opportunities', for current and future generations.
