The Role As a History Teacher, you will: • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Encourage students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for learning about the past. • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum. • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement. • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment where all students can succeed. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continued success of the Humanities department. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Have experience teaching History within a secondary school setting. • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills. • Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. • Have the ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities. • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills. • Be enthusiastic about contributing to the wider school community.
