Housekeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time and part-time Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within residential, commercial, or hospitality environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in delivering high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Weekend flexibility is essential! Duties • Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces • Change bed linens and organise rooms to ensure a welcoming environment • Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards • Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly • Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment • Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing or window washing when required • Provide excellent customer service by attending to guests’ or clients’ needs courteously and professionally Experience • Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential as training will be provided • Skills in cooking are considered a plus but are not mandatory for this role • Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients or guests • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision • Organised with keen attention to detail to uphold cleanliness standards consistently • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods This role offers a rewarding environment where attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are highly valued.
