Housing Complaints Investigator (Stage 1)
• Rate: £14.34 PAYE
• Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)
• Job Type: Temporary (3 months, subject to change)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
• Start Date: 20th July 2026
We are seeking a Housing Complaints Investigator to join a busy housing repairs team. This role is fully remote, following an initial 2-day onsite training in Ealing, London, with all travel expenses covered. You will be pivotal in handling Stage 1 complaints, ensuring they are resolved timely and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Manage and respond to Stage 1 housing repairs complaints.
• Investigate issues thoroughly, liaising with internal teams to gather necessary information.
• Draft clear, professional, and empathetic written responses to complaints.
• Ensure all complaints are resolved within agreed timescales and service standards.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems regularly.
• Deliver a customer-focused approach in all communications, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience handling complaints in housing, local authority, or financial services sectors.
• Strong written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with complaint-handling processes and frameworks within a regulated environment.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
