Job description

Housing Officer East London £43,000 - £45,000 per annum + benefits We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer to join a reputable housing organisation in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer focused housing professional with a strong background in tenancy management and neighbourhood services. Key Responsibilities • Managing a patch of residential properties and acting as the main point of contact for residents. • Delivering all aspects of tenancy management, including tenancy sign-ups, successions, assignments and tenancy breaches. • Investigating and managing anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases through to resolution. • Conducting estate inspections and ensuring communal areas are maintained to a high standard. • Managing void properties and supporting the onboarding of new tenants. • Working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to improve resident satisfaction and community outcomes. Candidate Requirements • Previous experience as a Housing Officer within a Housing Association or Local Authority. • Strong knowledge of housing management, tenancy law and ASB case management. • Passion for their community. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • An enhanced DBS check (updated and in date) is desirable. • Full UK driving licence is desirable.
