Neighbourhood Housing Officer St Helens £24.00 - £25.00 per hour (Umbrella) 9-Month Contract Full-Time | Monday to Friday Venn Group is working with a leading social housing provider to recruit an experienced Neighbourhood Housing Officer to manage a designated patch and deliver a comprehensive housing management service. The successful candidate will be responsible for tenancy management, tenancy sustainment, estate management, and anti-social behaviour casework, ensuring communities remain safe, sustainable, and well managed. Key Responsibilities • Manage a designated housing patch, providing a high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood management service to residents. • Investigate and manage tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour cases, tenancy fraud, unauthorised occupation, and other housing management matters. • Conduct home visits, tenancy audits, starter tenancy reviews, estate inspections, accompanied viewings, and other tenancy-related visits. • Support tenancy sustainment through needs assessments, safeguarding referrals, signposting, and partnership working with internal and external agencies. • Build positive relationships with tenants, residents, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with housing legislation, policies, and service standards. Essential Requirements • Previous experience working as a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer, Tenancy Officer, or within a similar housing management role. • Strong knowledge of tenancy management, housing legislation, and anti-social behaviour case management. • Experience managing a diverse caseload and delivering tenancy sustainment interventions. • Ability to build effective relationships with tenants, partner agencies, and internal stakeholders. • Excellent communication, organisational, and case management skills with the ability to work independently.
