Support Worker (Children and Young adults) - *IMMEDIATE START*
Join our dedicated team as a Support Worker, where you will provide high-quality support and positive outcomes for young people leaving care, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people.
Location: Various services across Kent, with hybrid working
Salary: £13.50/hr to £17.00/hr*, plus mileage
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm)
Contract Type: 3-month block booking with excellent permanent opportunities

This role supports their transition into adulthood and independent living. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle as daily travel is required.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Manage a caseload of 8x young people within the registered service provision.
• Provide support and guidance to young people living independently, according to individualised support plans
• Assist in developing young people’s independent living skills.
• Promote and encourage positive life choices such as social activities, budgeting, and education.
• Provide on-call assistance as required to young people, staff, social services, and management.
• Ensure all safeguarding issues are addressed and signposted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Attend meetings (virtual weekly and in-person monthly) to share updates with peers and Housing Officers
• Plan your own working week, with emphasis on keeping accurate and detailed logs of your time with each young person
Additional Information:
• This role is not open to applications from those who will require sponsorship under the points-based system.
• This role requires applicants to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
