The Opportunity: Temporary HR Administrator • Durham • Competitive hourly rate • Temporary Assignment (Immediate Start Available) Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a temporary HR Administrator to join a busy and supportive HR team in Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to gain further experience across the full employee lifecycle. The RoleSupporting the HR team with a wide range of administrative duties, you will play a key role in ensuring an efficient and professional HR service is delivered across the organisation. Key Responsibilities • Managing HR administration across the employee lifecycle • Preparing contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation • Coordinating new starter, induction and leaver processes • Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems • Supporting recruitment activity, including scheduling interviews and issuing correspondence • Assisting with absence management administration • Responding to employee and manager queries • Producing HR reports and supporting compliance activities • General administrative support to the wider HR team About You • Previous HR Administration experience is essential • Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle • Excellent organisational and administrative skills • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information • Confident communicating with employees and managers at all levels • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD would be advantageous What's On Offer? • Immediate start opportunity • Flexible temporary assignment with the potential for extension • Exposure to a busy, generalist HR environment • Competitive hourly rate • Supportive and collaborative team culture If you're available immediately or at short notice and would like to hear more about this opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
