Job description

HR Administrator • Salary: £13.84 - £15.39 per hour • Location: Gosport • Job Type: Full-time, On-site • Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment Our client is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to support our HR Manager in all areas of human resources. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an administrative environment and has a passion for HR processes. Day-to-day of the role: • Monitor the HR inbox and categorise incoming items to ensure efficient processing. • Update and maintain records in Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Administer the Time & Attendance (T&A) system, including data entry and updates. • Arrange interviews, liaise with candidates, and prepare necessary documentation. • Raise contracts and prepare new starter packs, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. • Track employee absences and lateness, providing support in managing these records. • Coordinate with third-party Occupational Health providers for surveillance appointments. • Liaise with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing. • Maintain and update various HR data and tracking spreadsheets to support HR operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail. • Experience in HR or a related field is preferred. • Qualification in HR or related discipline is advantageous. • Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly Workday. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Proactive and eager to take on new challenges.
