HR Advisor

Join us at GXO as our HR Advisor and you’ll be a key partner to operational leaders across our Bristol site (Emerald Park), delivering a proactive and hands-on HR Service across warehouse and transport operations. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving engagement, shaping culture, and supporting both people and performance. This is a full-time, permanent position. Based on-site you will work Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: • Providing expert HR advise to managers on employee relations, performance, and people management • Managing end-to-end absence, disciplinary, grievance, and long-term sickness cases • Walking the floor to build relationships and ensure a visible, approachable HR presence • Supporting the GXO teams in proactively identifying and developing employee engagement • Analysing HR data and supporting the delivery of the site people plan and broader HR strategy What you need to succeed at GXO: • Previous experience in a generalist HR role with strong employee relations exposure, in a fast-moving environment • Solid knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practice, including trade unions • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities • Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains. #LI-AG1 GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
