Job description

HR Support Adviser Leicestershire | Temporary We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Support Adviser to join an education setting in Leicestershire on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with experience of working within the education sector and supporting schools with a wide range of HR, safeguarding, compliance, and policy matters. While initially offered as a temporary position, there is the potential for the role to be extended or become permanent for the right candidate. There will be a requirement to travel to multiple local sites and remote working will also be available on occasion. Key Responsibilities • Provide professional HR advice and guidance to schools on a range of employee relations matters. • Manage and support complex casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability, and performance issues. • Support the development, review, and implementation of school policies and procedures. • Advise schools on safeguarding compliance, including the maintenance and auditing of system • Support schools in preparation for, and during, Ofsted inspections. • Deliver a full package of HR and school support services. • Build strong relationships with school leaders, governors, and key stakeholders. • Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team. About You The successful candidate will have: • Experience working within education environment / school setting • Familiarity with Ofsted inspections • Experience of managing and advising on HR casework. • Strong HR advisory and employee relations experience. • A good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice. • Experience of supporting and contributing to policy development. • An understanding of the wider HR agenda within schools. • Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills. • A flexible and customer-focused approach. • The ability to work independently and as part of a team. • A proven commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent service.
