Job description
If you're looking for an HR role where you can genuinely develop not just process paperwork this could be exactly what you're looking for.
We're partnering with a growing, ambitious business in Amersham that is investing heavily in its people function. With continued expansion, they're looking for an HR Coordinator to become a key member of their close-knit HR team, supporting the business across the full employee lifecycle while building the skills to progress into a broader HR role.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with around 1-3 years' HR experience who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a business where hard work and initiative are recognised.
The Role
Working closely with the HR Officer and Head of HR, you'll play a key role in keeping the HR function running smoothly while gaining exposure to all aspects of HR.
You'll be involved in:
• Coordinating onboarding from offer through to first day
• Preparing contracts, offer letters and HR documentation
• Maintaining HR systems and employee records
• Managing the HR inbox and responding to employee queries
• Supporting recruitment administration and interview coordination
• Monitoring probation periods and key HR deadlines
• Recording absence and maintaining accurate HR data
• Supporting HR compliance, reporting and governance activities
• Assisting with projects as the HR function continues to evolve
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys juggling priorities, takes ownership and loves keeping things organised.
About You
You'll ideally have:
• Around 1-3 years' experience in an HR Assistant, HR Administrator or HR Coordinator role
• Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience supporting the employee lifecycle and HR administration
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR systems
• The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work proactively
• Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
This isn't a role where you'll stay in the same position for years.
The business is growing and is committed to developing its people. You'll be given increasing responsibility, exposure to wider HR projects and a genuine opportunity to progress your career within a supportive, collaborative team.
If you're looking for your next step in HR and want to join a business where you can make an impact from day one, we'd love to hear from you.
