Job description

Overview: SodaStream, part of PepsiCo, is in an exciting phase of growth and integration across North Europe. As HR Generalist for the UK, you will be the local HR presence for a diverse, fast-moving business, supporting managers and employees across commercial, marketing, sales, e-commerce and supply chain functions. You report directly to the HR Lead for the North Europe cluster and work closely with our Shared Service Centre, which handles transactional HR. Your role is not only about administration, it is about being present, building trusted relationships, and making sure the right support reaches the right people at the right time. This is a role for someone who is grounded, pragmatic, and knows when to act and when to escalate. You are comfortable working independently across a multi-country environment while being a strong team player within the wider North Europe HR team. We are open to applicants willing to join for a full-time and/or part-time role. Responsibilities: Employee relations & manager support • Support managers with day-to-day people situations like absence, performance, probation and team dynamics • Support managers on how to handle people processes • Guide employees through formal processes like grievances, disciplinaries and ensure these are handled fairly and consistently • Identify when a situation needs to be escalated to the HR Lead and do so promptly Talent & Development • Support managers in identifying learning needs and connecting people to the right development opportunities • Facilitate onboarding for new starters and support managers in running effective probation reviews • Contribute to talent conversations by sharing observations and ground-level insight with the HR Lead HR operations & compliance • Work closely with the Shared Service Centre, which handles all transactional HR like payroll queries, contracts, letters and benefits administration • Ensure managers and employees know how to access the Shared Service Centre and use self-service tools effectively • Support local compliance with UK employment law, company policy and regulatory requirements • Contribute to HR reporting and data accuracy for the cluster Cross-border collaboration • Work as part of the North Europe HR team alongside the HR Generalist for the Benelux & Nordics and the HR Lead • Share insights, spot patterns and contribute to a consistent people approach across the cluster • Support the HR Lead with projects, change initiatives and the wider North Europe HR agenda as needed Qualifications: Experience • 2–4 years of HR experience in a generalist or advisor role • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice • Experience supporting managers across a range of people situations • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, commercially driven environment • Experience working with or alongside a Shared Service Centre model is an advantage Skills & approach • Strong relationship builder: people trust you and come to you • Clear communicator: direct, honest and easy to work with • Good judgment: you know what you can handle and when to bring in the HR Lead • Organised and reliable: you follow through and do what you say you will do • Curious and proactive: you spot things before they become problems • Comfortable working across cultures and in an international team environment
