Job description

HR & Recruitment Administrator – Temporary to permanent role Salary: £16.76 per hour + holiday pay Location: Agile working with 1 day per week at our Stratford office Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break) Temporary week on week for around 12 weeks with the potential to move to a permanent role (based on performance) We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented HR & Recruitment Administrator to join our client’s busy HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong administrative skills, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring new starters have a smooth and compliant experience from offer through to joining. Key Responsibilities • Supporting the recruitment administration process from offer to onboarding. • Preparing contracts of employment and other new starter documentation. • Completing Right to Work checks and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. • Processing DBS checks and monitoring their progress. • Requesting and chasing employment references. • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems. • Liaising with hiring managers, candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. • Providing general administrative support to the HR team as required. About You We're looking for someone who: • Has excellent organisational and administrative skills. • Can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Has exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. • Is confident communicating with a range of people in a professional manner. • Is proactive, reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team. • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems. Previous HR or recruitment experience is not essential but desired. We're open to hear from candidates with strong transferable administrative skills and a willingness to learn. Working Arrangements This is an agile working role, with one day per week based at our Stratford office. Please note that during your first 1–2 weeks, you'll be required to attend the office full-time for training and induction.
