Job description

HR Specialist EMEA (12 Month FTC) This highly established US law firm is seeking an experienced HR Specialist on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, to support the firm’s HR initiatives across employee relations, compensation and benefits, reward, recruitment, and onboarding for all business services and legal personnel in the EMEA offices. • Salary to £55,000 • 12-month fixed-term contract • Excellent employee benefits • Generous holiday allowance • Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote) • Offices near Bank / St Paul’s HR Specialist EMEA (12 Month FTC) Key Responsibilities: • Assist with note taking at disciplinary/capability/grievance hearings for employees as required • Arranges meetings and conference calls and exercises good judgment with regard to priorities and urgency to resolve conflicting appointments • Manage the new hire process and assist with the leaver process for personnel • Provide support on the coordination of the new hire induction process, including compiling welcome packs and induction meetings • Liaise with recruitment agencies to discuss vacancies, CVs, and schedule interviews • Support the US team by issuing onboarding training reminders for EMEA new hires • Oversee Return-to-Work processes, partnering with local offices and global HR to ensure completion of required documentation • Supports on the annual Lawyer and Business Services performance cycles • Attends Performance Evaluation and Compensation meetings and assists with note taking of discussions HR Specialist EMEA (12 Month FTC) Skills & Requirements: • Applicants must have 3+ years’ experience in HR at specialist level within a law firm • CIPD qualified, or studying towards, is highly desirable • Proficient in MS Office Applications • Previous experience using Chrome River, Workday, ADP iHCM would be advantageous
