Job description

Job Title: HSE Advisor Location: Aberdeen/Houston Duration: 12 months Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator / HSE Advisor to support HSE Governance activities, reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives within a global operational environment. The role will work closely with HSE teams and stakeholders to improve HSE processes, maintain accurate records, and drive data-based decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Support HSE governance activities including program coordination, performance reporting, and maintaining HSE records • Analyze HSE data, identify trends, and provide insights to support continuous improvement actions • Prepare reports based on audits, risk areas, events, near misses, and improvement initiatives • Support HSE risk register development, maintenance, and performance tracking • Assist with risk assessments, field verification of controls, and tracking corrective actions • Support HSE assurance activities and risk review preparation • Manage HSE documentation systems, including SharePoint, document control, version management, and archiving • Support annual HSE priorities, improvement targets, and project tracking • Collaborate with stakeholders across different business units and locations Required Qualifications & Experience • Degree/Diploma in HSE, Safety Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) • 3–5 years of experience in HSE Advisor/Coordinator roles • Experience supporting HSE governance, risk management, reporting, and improvement initiatives • Experience working in global/multinational environments • Exposure to high-risk operational environments (Oil & Gas experience highly preferred) • Strong understanding of HSE processes and compliance practices Preferred Skills • NEBOSH certification or equivalent • ISO 45001 Auditor certification preferred • Experience with MS Office and SharePoint/document management systems • Ability to analyze HSE performance data and create reports • Familiarity with AI tools for process improvement is a plus
