Client Relationship Manager - great for a senior admin / Trainee Paraplanner who wants to progress more technically.
Salary: Up to £30,000 Location: Hybrid Working – 2 Days Office Based (Tuesdays & Fridays) / 3 Days Working From Home
The Opportunity
We are seeking an organised and client-focused Client Relationship Manager to join a growing financial planning business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within wealth management, financial planning, or financial services administration who enjoys building strong client relationships and supporting advisers to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Working closely with advisers, paraplanners, and support teams, you will act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless and professional service throughout their financial planning journey.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
• Act as the day-to-day contact for clients.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships.
• Handle client enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Deliver a high standard of client service at all times.
Adviser Support
• Support advisers in the management of client relationships and portfolios.
• Prepare meeting packs, valuations, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure advisers are fully prepared ahead of client meetings.
• Assist with the implementation of recommendations and ongoing servicing requirements.
Report Preparation
• Draft suitability reports and review documentation.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, and tailored to client needs.
• Maintain high standards of written communication and attention to detail.
Annual Reviews
• Coordinate annual review processes.
• Prepare review packs and valuations.
• Follow up on actions arising from review meetings.
• Ensure clients receive a proactive and efficient service.
Platform Migration Support
• Assist with the transfer of client assets onto a modern investment platform.
• Liaise with providers and internal stakeholders.
• Support a smooth and efficient onboarding process for clients.
Administration & Workflow Management
• Maintain accurate client records and back-office systems.
• Monitor tasks and workflows to ensure deadlines are met.
• Ensure all client servicing activities are completed within agreed timescales.
• Support regulatory and compliance requirements.
About You
You will ideally have:
• Experience within a financial planning, wealth management, or financial services environment.
• A strong understanding of client servicing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
