Import Coordinator

Job Title: Import Coordinator Location: Basildon Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (negotiable based on skills and experience) Are you an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional with a knack for logistics? Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage import operations with precision. • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of shipments and documentation. • Collaborate effectively with team members and external partners. • Maintain meticulous records and documentation for all import activities. • Communicate efficiently with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues. What We're Looking For: • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Freight Forwarding • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy is essential in this role. • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS programmes, including Teams, is required. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. • Regional Knowledge: Experience with USA shipping procedures is preferred but not essential. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Work Hours: Regular working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
