Job description
As an apprentice, you will receive full training and support while gradually taking on responsibilities such as:
Monday to Friday pm
• Supporting international freight forwarding operations across air, ocean, and road freight
• Assisting with the coordination and movement of shipments through the supply chain
• Providing support within customer service operations and maintaining communication with clients, suppliers, and overseas partners
• Assisting with the preparation, checking, and processing of freight documentation
• Learning to complete import and export procedures accurately and within required deadlines
• Gaining an understanding of customs processes, compliance requirements, and international trade regulations
• Supporting invoicing, data entry, and general administrative tasks
• Using internal systems accurately to maintain operational records
• Assisting with customer quotations and responding to enquiries
• Working closely with internal departments including Customs, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service teams
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
• Building strong working relationships across teams and with external stakeholders
• Participating in departmental rotations to gain exposure across the business
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements
