The business is at the forefront of the UK's building safety agenda and is playing a key role in delivering complex, high-value remediation projects following recent regulatory reforms. Description We are looking to find a lawyer for specialist in-house team focused on some of the most significant building safety and construction issues currently facing the residential real estate sector. This is far more than a traditional construction role. You'll advise on: • Major developer-led and government-funded remediation projects • Building Safety Act issues and emerging legislation • Complex claims against developers, contractors and warranty providers • Construction contracts, funding agreements and warranties • High-value disputes working alongside leading external counsel Profile A successful In-House Counsel - Construction and Building Safety should have: • A strong legal background with expertise in construction and building safety law. • Qualified solicitor status or equivalent legal qualifications. • Experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents. • Excellent knowledge of the property industry and related regulatory frameworks. • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and provide clear, concise legal advice.
