Role: In House Residential Conveyancer Location: Sheffield Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 + Bonus Contract: Full Time, Permanent Working Pattern: Hybrid Working: 2 days from home per week The Opportunity CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known and highly regarded Sheffield-based housebuilder to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive into their growing in-house legal team. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an experienced residential conveyancer looking to step away from the pressures of traditional private practice and move into an in-house environment offering better work-life balance, a collaborative team culture and long-term career stability. You will be joining an established and supportive team handling high-quality residential conveyancing matters connected to new build developments and plot sales. For individuals with experience in new build conveyancing or plot sales, this role offers a fantastic chance to use your technical skills within a commercial developer setting whilst avoiding many of the pressures associated with private practice. What you'll be doing • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters relating to new build developments and plot sales • Assisting with the legal process from reservation through to completion • Liaising with panel solicitors, buyers, lenders and internal departments • Supporting the wider legal team with development-related conveyancing work • Reviewing legal documentation and ensuring transactions progress efficiently • Providing commercially focused legal support to the business • Working closely with sales and operational teams to help drive smooth completions What they're looking for • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Residential Conveyancer • Strong residential conveyancing experience • Experience handling new build transactions and plot sales would be highly advantageous • Excellent organisational and communication skills • Commercial and pragmatic approach • Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment • Someone looking to build a long-term career within an in-house legal setting What's on Offer • Salary between £35,000 - £55,000 depending on experience • Bonus scheme • Hybrid working - 2 days from home per week • Free parking • Excellent work-life balance • No time recording targets • Friendly and growing team environment • Opportunity to move in-house with a respected Sheffield developer • Long-term progression and stability Interested?
