Job Description: Job Title: Industrial Cleaning Operative Location: Leigh-on-Sea Hours and shifts: 4 days on and 4 days off 06:00-18:00 Position Type: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £12.71 p/h (Weekly pay) plus weekend premium £16.52 ph Key Responsibilities: • Read and comprehend work instructions, maintenance manuals, operating procedures, and customer specifications. • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding process paperwork and parts control. • Utilize dedicated cleaning machines for the cleaning of aircraft wheels and brakes. • Clean aircraft wheel and brake structural and component parts meticulously. • Operate media blasters effectively for paint removal. • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area. • Flexibility to work various shifts as per customer requirements. Skills & Qualifications: • Exceptional attention to detail. • Strong work ethic with a willingness to work diligently. • Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and follow instructions. • GCSE Maths and English qualification (or equivalent) • Comprehensive training will be provided.
