One week you could be working on a major nuclear infrastructure project protecting critical equipment worth millions. The next, you could be installing specialist protection systems on helicopters, luxury vehicles, industrial machinery or enormous storage tanks. We're recruiting for an Infrastructure Protection Technician to join a market-leading specialist in industrial shrink wrapping and asset preservation. This isn't traditional site work. You'll be trained in highly specialised protection techniques used across the nuclear, aerospace, engineering and infrastructure sectors. What You'll Be Doing • Installing specialist shrink-wrap protection systems • Working on nuclear, energy, engineering and construction sites • Protecting high-value assets, machinery and infrastructure • Working safely at height using MEWPs and access equipment • Using hand tools, power tools and specialist installation equipment • Travelling nationwide with the onsite team • Working alongside engineers, project managers and skilled trades What We're Looking For • Construction, engineering, manufacturing or industrial experience • Comfortable working outdoors and in changing environments • Practical and hands-on mindset • Strong attitude towards health & safety • CSCS card desirable but not essential • Full UK Driving Licence preferred Training & Development • Full specialist shrink-wrap installation training • CSCS training and support if required • MEWP training provided • Ongoing opportunities to gain additional industry qualifications What's In It For You?£35,000-£40,000+ starting salary Temp-to-perm opportunity Progression to Team Leader roles (£45,000-£55,000+) Revenue doubled last year and continuing to grow Family-run culture with genuine recognition and support oin before a major expansion phase across the UK and Europe Location: Cheltenham (with nationwide travel) Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
