Industrial Sewing Machinist Location: Surbiton Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience Hours: Full-time or part-time (flexible working hours considered) The Role Our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join their friendly and established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality covers and awnings for both domestic and commercial customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist looking for a flexible role with a supportive employer. Key Responsibilities • Sewing a range of covers and awnings for domestic and commercial applications. • Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently. • Producing high-quality work with excellent attention to detail. • Working from specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements. • Maintaining a clean and organised work area. • Working independently and as part of a small team. Essential Requirements • Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist is essential. • Experience sewing heavy-duty materials such as canvas, PVC, vinyl, awnings, covers or similar products. • High attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship. • Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
