Infrastructure Engineer

We're recruiting on behalf of a large NHS organisation for an experienced IM&T Operations Engineer to join their infrastructure team and play a key role in supporting critical healthcare technology services. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer with strong server, storage and cloud experience to work within a complex, mission-critical environment supporting thousands of users and clinical services. Key Responsibilities • Provide 3rd line support for server, storage, cloud and infrastructure technologies • Manage and resolve complex technical incidents and escalations • Maintain and optimise server, SAN, backup and cloud environments • Support infrastructure security, availability and performance • Design, install and configure new infrastructure solutions • Contribute to infrastructure and digital transformation projects • Ensure data protection, backup and recovery processes are maintained • Produce technical documentation and provide guidance to wider IT teams What's on Offer • Permanent position • Opportunity to work on business-critical infrastructure and digital projects • Excellent learning and development opportunities • Flexible working arrangements • Comprehensive NHS benefits package
