Injection Mould Tool Setter Salary: £16.11 – £25.17 per hour, depending on shift Location: Birmingham Are you an experienced Injection Mould Tool Setter looking for your next role in a dynamic environment Join Thermoseal, where we pride ourselves on a strong team culture and unwavering commitment to quality in the production of plastic components for the UK and export markets. As an Injection Mould Tool Setter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency within our Injection Moulding Department. With a permanent weekend shift from 6am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays, or a rotational shift of 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday, your reliability and punctuality will be key to our success. We offer competitive pay between £16.11 and £25.17 per hour and a discretionary bonus of 5.5% of your pay, awarded half in June and half in December. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Injection Moulding Manager in coordinating machine set-up and production changes to maintain efficiency and quality standards. • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations, reporting any issues that may arise. • Operate Injection Moulding equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet production targets. • Carry out tool changeovers and basic maintenance tasks while monitoring the Injection Moulding process for quality assurance. • Maintain accurate batch records in line with quality control procedures. The Ideal Candidate Will: • Have at least one year of experience in a similar role, with a sound understanding of Injection Moulding mechanics. • Be proficient in English, with GCSE-level qualifications in Mathematics and English. • Demonstrate a firm grasp of Health and Safety regulations specific to Injection Moulding. • Show flexibility in working hours and tasks, with a willingness to support your team. • Possess strong time management and organisational skills.
