Interim Accounts Payable

Based in Chippenham, this temporary role requires someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes. Description • Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all accounts are up-to-date. • Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies and liaising with suppliers as needed. • Prepare payment runs and ensure proper authorisations are in place. • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions. • Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. • Work collaboratively with the wider Accounting & Finance team to ensure seamless operations. • Respond to internal and external queries regarding accounts payable matters. Profile A successful Interim Accounts Payable should have: • Previous experience in accounts payable • A strong understanding of financial processes and systems. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
