Interim Credit Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a highly respected Bath-based organisation embarking on a large-scale finance improvement programme.Working alongside a supportive and forward-thinking finance leadership team, you will take ownership of a diverse ledger while helping drive improvements in cash collection performance, reporting and customer engagement. This role would suit somebody who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and having a genuine impact on business performance beyond simply chasing debt. Responsibilities: Managing a complex ledger with a mixture of key accounts and high-volume customers Producing aged debt analysis and cash collection reporting Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers Investigating payment disputes and identifying root causes Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across receivables and cash management Contributing towards working capital improvement projects What we are looking for: Previous Credit Control experience Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and influence outcomes Experience within a fast-paced commercial environment What's in it for you?
