Job description
Your new company
A leading organisation is undertaking a significant transformation programme focused on enhancing its Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework and supplier assurance processes. As part of this strategic initiative, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced TPRM Manager to play a key role in reviewing, improving and embedding best practice across the third-party risk landscape.
Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will join a small team responsible for shaping future state processes, governance and technology solutions that support effective risk management, regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
Your new role
As TPRM Manager, you will support the redesign and delivery of an enhanced Third Party Risk Management operating model. You will work closely with business stakeholders, end users and subject-matter experts to evaluate current processes and define a more effective approach to supplier segmentation, due diligence, monitoring and risk controls.
You will help drive standardisation and simplification across the TPRM framework while maintaining strong governance and compliance standards. The role will involve supporting the development of policies, procedures, control documentation and reporting capabilities, alongside helping to improve the use of technology and automation throughout the supplier life cycle.
You will play a key part in evaluating what good practice looks like within a mature TPRM environment and contribute to the successful delivery of change initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities and process improvements. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and practical delivery experience.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have proven hands-on experience within Third Party Risk Management, Supplier Assurance, Vendor Risk Management or a closely related discipline. You will have a strong understanding of risk frameworks, governance requirements, regulatory expectations and supplier due diligence processes.
You will be able to demonstrate experience of improving, transforming or implementing TPRM processes rather than solely operating within an established framework. Experience working alongside business stakeholders and technology teams will be important, as will the ability to influence, challenge and support change across a complex environment.
Candidates with exposure to procurement functions or supplier management environments will be of particular interest. You will be a self-starter who can work at pace, build effective relationships and contribute positively within a close-knit team. Experience supporting technology-enabled risk management solutions would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
You will have the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile transformation programme and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of Third Party Risk Management within a large organisation. The role offers exposure to governance, risk management, supplier assurance, operational resilience and change initiatives, providing a varied and rewarding assignment.
In return, you will receive a competitive day rate of £600-£700 per day (Umbrella), flexible hybrid working with approximately one to two days per week in the office, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced stakeholders on a business-critical programme.
