Internal Communications Specialist Belfast Onsite 6-Month Contract inside IR35 £26.15 per hour PAYE £34.98 per hour Umbrella Role Overview An organisation undergoing a significant integration programme is seeking an experienced Interim Communications Specialist for a 6-month contract. This role will provide critical support in establishing and delivering communications across a newly created site, ensuring alignment with wider UK and global frameworks during a period of transformation. Key Responsibilities - Internal Communications Specialist • Local Communications Delivery • Support the development of internal and external communications for a newly established operational site • Ensure local messaging aligns with broader organisational frameworks and standards • Stakeholder & Managerial Support • Assist in shaping key messaging for business updates and transformation initiatives • Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver clear, engaging communications materials • Channel Development & Deployment • Support the rollout and optimisation of internal communications channels and tools • Help establish both interim solutions and longer-term communications infrastructure • External Messaging Alignment • Coordinate with wider communications and public affairs teams to ensure consistency • Support delivery of messaging to external audiences in line with brand and reputation guidelines Requirements - Internal Communications Specialist Experience & Skills • Proven experience in communications (internal, external, or community relations) • Experience within M&A, post-merger integration (PMI), or transformation/change environments • Strong understanding of communications within a manufacturing or operational setting • Ability to develop and execute communications plans • Effective stakeholder engagement across multiple levels • Excellent writing and content creation skills • Event management and engagement experience • Strong understanding of internal communications tools and best practice Application Process If you are an experienced communications professional with a background in transformation environments and are available for an immediate contract assignment, please apply with your CV highlighting relevant experience.
