Job description

A well-established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Internal Compliance & Risk Solicitor to join its team in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This is a senior position offering the opportunity to work closely with the firm's leadership team, advising on professional negligence, risk management, governance and client care. Alternative office locations may also be considered. The Role • Advising on professional negligence risks and claims • Managing complex client complaints from investigation through to resolution • Liaising with insurers and external legal advisers • Assessing liability and advising on claims strategy • Providing practical guidance to senior stakeholders on risk and governance matters • Supporting improvements to compliance procedures and client care • Contributing to the ongoing development of the firm's risk management framework Requirements • Qualified Solicitor • Strong background in professional negligence, litigation or risk and compliance • Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills • Ability to investigate complex matters and provide practical solutions • Confident communicating with senior stakeholders • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities • Strong attention to detail and sound judgement What's on Offer • Competitive salary dependent on experience • Full-time or part-time considered • 33 days' annual leave including bank holidays and birthday leave • Life insurance (3x salary) • Employee Assistance Programme including counselling, 24/7 GP access, physiotherapy, gym discounts and cashback benefits • Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a strategic and influential role Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment.
