Job description

Investment Management AdministratorNewcastle | £30,000 - £37,500 | Hybrid Working Experienced Investment Management Administrators don't often move unless there's a genuinely good reason. This opportunity offers the chance to join one of the UK's leading wealth management businesses, supporting two experienced Investment Managers while working with high-net-worth clients and a collaborative team. It's a varied role that goes well beyond administration. You'll become a trusted point of contact for clients, liaise with Financial Planners and operational teams, and play an important part in ensuring an exceptional client experience from start to finish. The position is based in Newcastle, with hybrid working available after the successful completion of probation. The RoleYou'll provide comprehensive support to two Investment Managers across all aspects of their client portfolios, including: • Managing client administration from instruction through to completion • Building strong relationships with clients and maintaining regular contact • Processing cash transfers, foreign exchange transactions and monitoring account balances • Opening new client accounts and ensuring AML documentation is completed accurately • Liaising with internal operational teams regarding transfers, corporate actions and client servicing • Preparing documentation for client meetings, presentations and new business opportunities • Maintaining accurate client records and back-office systems • Working alongside external Financial Planners where required • Acting as a senior member of the administration team by supporting and mentoring colleagues • Identifying risks, maintaining regulatory standards and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently About YouTo be considered, you'll have: • Previous experience supporting Investment Managers within an Investment Management or Wealth Management environment • Experience handling complex client administration • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders • A good understanding of investment products, asset classes and Investment Management processes • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • A proactive approach and excellent attention to detail The Package • Basic salary negotiable depending on experience, £30,000 - £37,500 • Hybrid working (office-based during probation before moving to a 3 days office / 2 days home model) • Study support • Private Medical Insurance • Life Assurance • Pension contribution • Generous annual leave plus the option to purchase additional holiday • Shared parental leave This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation where you'll be trusted, supported and given the opportunity to develop your career within Investment Management.
