About the Role Level - 4 Location - London (Hybrid) Department - Investment Research Contract - Permanent This role provides dedicated support across investment governance, investment process management and activity. It will enable the Chief Investment Officer to focus on strategic leadership by taking ownership of key governance, coordination and process activities, reducing operational risk and strengthening resilience across the investment function. The role sits within the Investment function and will work closely with investment teams including Governance, Research and Strategy, as well as Risk, Compliance, Distribution, Technology, Marketing and Communications colleagues. It will also act as a coordination point with Group stakeholders, internal and external auditors, and external providers supporting the investment processes. Key responsibilities include: • Own and manage core investment governance processes and documents, ensuring consistency, rigour, timely delivery and clear audit trails. • Maintain and refresh governance documentation, including Terms of Reference and other governance artefacts. • Coordinate investment governance activity across the investment function, Quilter Cheviot and relevant Group stakeholders. • Support, embed and continuously improve investment processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical, scalable improvements, including suggestions for AI enhancements. • Partner with Technology teams to design and enhance automated workflows and process controls. • Provide structured analytical and coordination support for investment decision making activity, including acting as a bridge between internal teams and external providers. • Support the development of additional internal capabilities, reducing dependency on external providers where appropriate. • Design and support delivery of investment-related KPIs, including customer outcomes, working with Distribution, Governance, Risk and Group stakeholders. • Maintain relevant intranet content and internal materials to ensure transparency and up-to-date governance information. About You We are looking for someone who can bring strong judgement, credibility and proactive ownership to a complex governance and investment process environment. You will be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, coordinating activity across multiple teams and improving processes in a practical, scalable way. • Experience in investment governance, investment operations, risk, compliance, governance or a related financial services environment. • Strong understanding of governance processes, control frameworks, audit trails and process documentation. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders and drive activity through to completion. • Confidence working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, including Risk, Compliance, Governance, Technology, Marketing and Communications. • Analytical capability and attention to detail, with the ability to provide structured support to investment process activity and improvement. • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and work with Technology teams to improve workflows and controls. • Clear communication skills, with the ability to maintain governance materials, process collateral and internal content for a range of audiences. #LI-VS1 #QC Inclusion & Diversity We value diversity and strive to promote inclusivity in all aspects of our culture.
