IT QA Lead (Trade & Transaction Reporting) AVP City of London Hybrid (3/2 split) Contract to end of March 2027 £405 - £676 per day (via Umbrella) cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking an IT QA Lead (Trade & Transaction Reporting) AVP to work with them on a contract. The responsibilities of the candidate will include: • Lead QA testing for Trade & Transaction Reporting (MiFID II, EMIR Refit, SFTR, Prudential Reporting). • Own end-to-end regression testing, test strategy, and monthly test updates. • Develop, maintain, and execute regression test packs using Jira, Xray, and Confluence. • Perform data analysis, validation, and root cause analysis for reporting issues. • Support business change, BAU, and regulatory reporting enhancements. • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Operations, Compliance, and Front Office teams. • Review business requirements and define test scenarios and acceptance criteria. • Manage test environments, test data, and automation readiness. • Track, document, and report defects through to resolution. • Lead QA planning, test execution, estimation, and progress reporting. • Ensure Agile QA processes and best practices are followed. • Identify and escalate project risks, dependencies, and quality issues. • Mentor junior QA analysts and drive continuous process improvement. • Deliver stakeholder communications, workshops, and QA training where required. • Support automation framework adoption and testing strategy across projects. The successful candidate will have: • Test Lead experience in Trade & Transaction Reporting (TTR/PTTR). • Strong knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR Refit, SFTR, and regulatory reporting. • Experience across asset classes (FX, IR, Credit, Commodities). • Hands-on experience with reconciliation tools (DUCO, IntelliMatch). • Experience with DTCC, RHUB, Kaizen, and trading platforms (Murex, Summit, Bloomberg, MarkitWire, PRISM, FOX, OBS). • Strong data analysis, defect management, and root cause analysis skills. • Experience with Agile, Jira, Xray, and Confluence. • Strong stakeholder management across Business, IT, Operations, and Compliance. • Knowledge of front-to-back trade lifecycle and regulatory reporting processes.
