IT Support Engineer (2nd line) – Hybrid Salary: Up to £35,000 plus benefits Permanent Location: Telford, TF3 Occasional travel to other UK sites A great opportunity for a proactive, self-sufficient 2nd line IT Support Engineer to join a growing team in Telford. You’ll handle day-to-day support, networking tasks and project work, with the opportunity to work from home and the office IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) Role • 2nd line support across hardware, software and connectivity issues • General networking: switches, VPNs, routing basics • Regular maintenance, updates and user administration • Troubleshooting and resolving escalations quickly • Supporting IT projects and continuous improvement • Occasional travel to additional sites IT Support Engineer (2nd line) profile • Solid 2nd line capability in a busy environment • Strong troubleshooting skills • Good networking knowledge (switches, VPNs) • Confident managing users and permissions • Proactive, organised and able to work independently If you’re looking for a hybrid role with variety, ownership and room to grow, this could be the perfect next step.
