Junior Accountant

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their accounting career to gain exposure to a wide range of clients while developing their technical skills. Responsibilities • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts. • Preparing bookkeeping records and VAT returns. • Supporting the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns. • Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining financial records. • Liaising with clients and responding to queries. • Supporting senior team members with day-to-day client work. Requirements • AAT qualified/studying, or a relevant Accounting & Finance degree. • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. • Good communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Experience with Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is advantageous.
