Junior Data Engineer FTC (Azure)
up to £45,000 + Benefits
Remote (UK - occasional office visits)

THE COMPANY:This is within the legal industry and is with a client who are significantly investing in its data and technology function, creating exciting opportunities for engineers looking to grow in a forward-thinking environment.
THE ROLE:You will take ownership of supporting and developing data pipelines within a modern Azure Databricks Lakehouse environment. Working closely with engineering teams, you'll contribute to building scalable, high-quality data solutions while developing your technical skillset.
Key responsibilities include:
• Building and maintaining robust data pipelines
• Supporting CI/CD implementation and engineering best practices
• Deploying and managing code across established development processes
• Contributing to data engineering and data modelling activities
• Applying DevOps principles throughout the engineering lifecycle
• Collaborating across squads and upskilling within the Databricks ecosystem
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:You will bring strong capability in:
• Python development
• Databricks
• Azure
• PySpark
• Understanding of data engineering principles
• A proactive, growth-mindset approach with strong collaboration skills
THE BENEFITS:
