Junior Project Manager Competitive Salary Wakefield Description: An excellent opportunity for a motivated Junior Project Manager, looking to play a key role in the successful delivery of exciting projects while developing their career within a supportive and forward thinking environment. The Role • Lead the delivery of small to medium-sized business change projects from initiation through to completion. • Support the Change Manager in delivering larger strategic transformation programmes. • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and milestones. • Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies. • Maintain accurate project documentation. • Produce weekly project status reports. • Update project dashboards. • Track budgets where required. • Tracking improvement requests • Prioritising activities with stakeholders • Monitoring delivery progress • Ensuring changes are documented • Measuring benefits realised • Produce clear project documentation including business cases, status reports, RAID logs and implementation plans. • Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed governance and project management standards. Person: • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile • Ability to build effective working relationships across the business. • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn. • Previous experience coordinating projects or delivering business initiatives. • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Strong attention to detail. • Good problem-solving skills. • Confident using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
