Key Account Export Operator

Are you looking to use your Export expertise to move into a new challenging role? We have a role available for a Key account Operator with a well established and growing Freight Forwarder. They are able to offer excellent benefits including 25 days holiday and hybrid working. Role will involve ensuring the seamless execution of export and cross trade shipments for a key client, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring that agreed service levels and customer expectations are met. Act as the primary day-to-day operational contact for the assigned global customer. Prepare and validate export documentation, including Air Waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists and export customs declarations. Manage bookings with airlines, handling agents, and approved logistics partners. Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders. Provide proactive updates on shipment status, delays, and resolution plans. Ensure all customer requirements and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved. Conduct regular service reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Quoting and rate card management. Shipment profitability and margin management. Negotiation with overseas offices and suppliers. Essential Skills and Experience - Background in forwarding/logistics. High level customer service. Team player. Robust time management and organisational skills. Confident and articulate communicator. Proficient in using MS Office. CargoWise experience would be an advantage
