Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic team at The Beeches Retirement Home. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, meal assembly, creating menus and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to improve the stay of our residents in the home. Responsibilities: - Assist in food preparation and meal assembly under the guidance of kitchen staff - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment - Follow food safety standards and guidelines during all stages of food handling - Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service Experience: - Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred - Basic knowledge of food preparation methods - Understanding of food safety practices and regulations Joining our team as a Kitchen Team Member offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a kitchen environment whilst working in a wonderful caring Retirement Home.
