Looking for Primary teaching opportunities in Liverpool? We are seeking a passionate KS2 Primary teacher for one of our Liverpool based primary schools. Main Duties • To deliver high quality teaching and learning to pupils within their Key Stage 2 class. • To inspire children with enthusiasm and a love of learning. • To have a sound knowledge of the requirements of the national curriculum. • To prepare and plan for teaching, taking account of the requirements of all children within their class. • To prepare and develop, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment and pastoral arrangements. • To use a range of strategies for teaching and maintaining classroom behaviour in accordance with the school policy. • To ensure that work is marked regularly, and in line with school policy. • Be responsible for the effective management of your classroom to encourage independent learners in line with the school ethos. • Supervise the work of any support staff, including teaching assistants, who are assigned to work within the class. Personal Qualities • Ability to communicate with and inspire children. • Dedicated interest in children's education and creating the best learning environment. • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare. • Ability to work well with others. • Flexible attitude. • Patience. • Positive outlook. To join us and be successful in this role you will need: • An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks • A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible) • Legal right to work in the UK • 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English, Maths and Science. • Undergraduate education degree or a degree in any subject and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • In-school teaching experience • Fluent level of English, spoken and written.
