Laboratory Technician Location: Folkestone, Kent Start Date: 10th August 2026 Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm - 4 on 4 off Pay Rate: £Competative Duration: Temp to Perm Join Our Clients Team! Are you passionate about quality control? We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic Quality department! If you thrive in a fast-paced laboratory environment and possess a keen eye for detail, this is the opportunity for you! What You'll Do: As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. Your responsibilities will include: • Testing raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products to meet stringent quality standards. • Conducting tests on medical devices to ensure compliance with regulations. • Supporting a culture of quality by adhering to GMP and other regulatory requirements. • Maintaining detailed and accurate records in line with company policies. • Working independently on tasks assigned by the QC Shift Supervisor. • Aiding in the validation and verification of new testing methods. • Reporting any out-of-specification (OOS) results immediately and participating in investigations. • Keeping the laboratory organised and compliant with 5S standards. • Collaborating with R&D on new product testing and maintaining the retain sample programme. • Performing stability testing for all products on a yearly basis. • Supporting training initiatives for laboratory personnel on key procedures and methods. What We're Looking For: • Experience in Quality Control • Knowledge of cGMP and ISO 13485 standards is advantageous. • Strong planning, communication, and organisational skills. • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines. • A quick learner who thrives in a team-oriented environment. • A commitment to health and safety procedures.
